Founded by Joël Delval, a Belgian lighting designer with over 25 years of experience in the entertainment and events industry, RCD Design brings unique expertise to the permanent illumination of gardens and parks.

Outdoor lighting is not simply about “lighting” a space.
At RCD Design, every lighting scheme is conceived as a sensitive interpretation of the place, in harmony with its lines, textures and vegetation.
It is not about showing everything, but about revealing what truly matters: allowing forms to speak, suggesting perspectives, and playing with shadow as much as with light.
It is a work of precision, where every technical choice — optics, intensity and colour temperature — serves an aesthetic vision.

We take the time to listen to it, to walk through it, and to understand its breathing.
Our lighting is designed to respect natural darkness, preserve biodiversity, and extend the enjoyment of the garden without overwhelming it.
In the evening, each light source is fine-tuned on site, following an intuitive approach that responds to the character of the place.

Light transforms a space and sets the mood for an event.
RCD Design creates temporary lighting installations for receptions, weddings and private or corporate events. Each lighting scheme is tailored to the venue, its architecture and the desired atmosphere.
From the initial design to the final dismantling, we take care of everything: the equipment, the set-up and the on-site adjustments. The result is a lighting design that is elegant, cohesive and precisely executed.
Envisioning an atmosphere, revealing a space
Every event has its own character, pace and highlights.
We study the volumes, the way people move through the space, and the features to be highlighted in order to design a suitable lighting scheme: façades, gardens, vegetation, reception areas and architectural details.
The lighting is installed and precisely adjusted on site. Whether subtle or spectacular, it complements the event without detracting from the venue and, for the duration of the evening, lends it a whole new dimension.
